Unlike many digital health platforms, PoTherapy does not collect, store, or process user data on external servers.

All conversation history, mood entries, and other personal data are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
We do not have access to your personal data.
We do not sell, share, or resell data to advertisers, affiliates, or third parties.
Users maintain full control over their data at all times.

3. Data Deletion & Control

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time with a single action inside the app.
Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
PoTherapy cannot restore or retrieve deleted data, as we do not store it on our systems.

4. No Advertisements, No Resale

PoTherapy is free of advertisements. We do not use your data for marketing purposes, nor do we sell or resell data to advertisers, affiliates, or any external parties.

5. AI Limitations & Disclaimer

PoTherapy’s AI is an automated conversational tool, not a human therapist or healthcare professional.

It cannot diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical or psychological conditions.
It should not be relied upon for emergency or crisis situations.
Responses generated by the AI are informational only and should not be considered medical advice.
Always seek professional medical or psychological support if you are experiencing serious mental health concerns.

6. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

PoTherapy, its affiliates, partners, investors, directors, and employees shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or misuse of the platform.
Users remain fully responsible for their actions, decisions, and reliance on any information provided through the AI.
By using PoTherapy, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk.

7. Children’s Privacy

PoTherapy is intended for users 16 years of age or older in the European Union (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country).
Users under 16 may only use the platform with verified parental or guardian consent.
